Key messages for Phase One were developed on gastroenteritis, malaria, tuberculosis, immunization, nutrition, maternal health, and disaster related stress, water, environment, sanitation, child protection in consultation with all partners. Besides providing the textual content for printed awareness raising materials produced within a month of the earthquake and newspaper advertisements taken out by the Ministry of Health, the messages were also shared with the media, which were asked to publish/broadcast them for public awareness.
